SYPSKI DROPS NEW SINGLE “WHEN I’M GONE”: A HOMAGE FOR HIS DAY-ONE FANS

13 NOVEMBER 2020 (Peoria, AZ) - Young, punk-inspired pop artist, SypSki, releases his new track “When I’m Gone”, now available on all digital platforms HERE. This track has a similar sound to the sad pop SoundCloud releases that SypSki’s day-one fans know and love him for. Like a lot of artists his age, SypSki started recording music out of his bedroom, quickly creating a die-hard digital fanbase and community of similar young creatives.
Most well-known of these old-school SypSki tracks is the song “What You Need”, which was released over a year ago, recently reaching 1M streams on Spotify. It was this momentum that drove SypSki to start regularly releasing his music across platforms and collaborating with other artists and producers. Over the summer, he dropped “Kryptonite” with Trinidad Cardona, a fellow Arizona-native formerly signed to Island Records.
“When I’m Gone” continues SypSki’s knack for writing angsty ballad lyrics paired with fun, driving pop beats. Produced by his good friend, Jakebreh, and Internet Money’s Rio Leyva, the song narrative follows the desire of wanting to feel appreciated and worth something to others.
“I was inspired to write ‘When I’m Gone’ because I’m so used to seeing people not care about something before it’s too late. Most people don’t realize what they have until it’s gone.”
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, 22-year old SypSki (Anthony Sypniewksi) has spent his whole life obsessed with music. For the past two years, he has grown to develop his own unique sound, a versatile mix of styles that combines pop, rap, rock, dance and indie influence reminiscent of Juice Wrld, Lil Yachty and Post Malone. SypSki’s music certainly doesn’t fit in one box, and “When I’m Gone” has a little bit of something for everyone. Syp is truly hitting his day-one fans with this anticipated release.
