Friday, November 20th, 2020: Emerging twin brother producers MC4D follow their successful debut original with another house banger! The duo recruits pop artist-to-watch Marlhy for their sophomore single released on TNT records, available on all platforms HERE.

In their new release, “Every Time,” MC4D’s collaborative songwriting is showcased with their high energy production, which differentiates them in the remix world. This progressive house track centers on Marlhy’s dreamy vocals and edgy lead melody. The song has a dynamic narrative, with a positive and uplifting tune that transforms into an edgy and hard-hitting drop.

Their debut single, “Looking For Love”, which was released in August with TNT Records, was the first of many dance-driven originals from MC4D. Described by EDM Sauce as “a perfect late-summer soundtrack,” the track collected over a quarter of a million streams in just a few months, and was featured on Spotify’s Happy Beats, Dance Rising and Friday Cratediggers playlists. Through collaborations with emerging talent like Marlhy and GLNNA, MC4D experiments with new vibes and expands into new fan-bases.

Dallas-born, LA living multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Marlhy has taken the pop world by storm with her unique blend of genre-twisting pop. At only 18-years-old, she’s collaborated with artists such as Kellin Quinn (Sleeping With Sirens), accredited producer and DJ pluko, and released top-trending singles “Claustrophobic”, “Green Light” and “Bubbles” – all of which debuted on Spotify’s New Music Friday, with the latter hitting 17 total globally. Heavily influenced by the likes of Amy Winehouse, The Cure and Bob Marley (her parents coining the moniker Marlhy from their love of the reggae legend), Marlhy started performing live when she was only six-years-old, and at ten-years-old was in the youngest band ever to perform at South by Southwest (SXSW). Noted as, “not your average teenage girl”, Marlhy is a seasoned singer, songwriter, drummer and forward-thinking artist who continues to excite audiences with her ability to blend genres.

MC4D is the music duo consisting of identical twin brothers Matt & Chris Drake, who grew their following and established themselves as label remix staples with their work over the past two years. While Matt and Chris are recent college grads from Duke and Dartmouth, respectively, the brothers have worked collaboratively despite their distance apart, and have used it to their advantage to grow. Their work process allows them to create ideas that compliment each other’s styles, leading to songs that are much better than what just one of them could do alone. Since the creation of MC4D in 2018, the brothers have released official remixes for Justin Caruso, Frank Walker, Ryan Riback, NEIKED, FRND, Youngr, Wrabel, Tep No, Jocelyn Alice, and Anna Clendening among others, with labels like Sony, Warner, Universal, and Ultra.
